Laughing Boy!

Today Jackson laughed for the first time for me! Apparently he laughed for hunter last weekend while I was gone, but today was the first time I heard it! It was great! Michelle, Stella, Jackson and I were at Babies’ r us, we went to the toy aisle and started playing with all the toys. I found a pink poodle toy that made noises and shook when you pulled the cord. He just thought it was hysterical! It was the cutest thing ever J  Him and Stella rode in the shopping cart together, which was also the first time Jackson has done that without his car seat! A great day of firsts!

Mommy's Weekend Away

This was the first weekend without my little baby boy! Never mind one night.. It was the whole weekend! I went on cruise with all the girls for Gina’s bachelorette party. We went to the Bahamas and Coco cay. Had a great time but missed my little guy! Hunter did great home with Jackson, apparently they layed around in the pj’s all day Saturday! It was a great time for Jackson and Hunter to bond, I think they got a lot closer J Sunday night Jackson stayed the night at Grammies house which was his first real sleep over! Everyone got to see what 3 am looks like every night J I got back around noon on Monday which allowed me to spend the rest of the day with Jackson, we took a long snuggly nap together then ran some errands J A great end to a great weekend!

4 Month Dr's Appt!

Today Jackson had his 4 month Dr's Appt. He did amazing! He had to get shots.. but you would never have known.. He didn't cry once! he whimpered for just a second with the first one, but then he was fine! I was so proud of my brave boy! We found out that he weighs 16 pounds 11 ounces and is 25 inches long! He is in the 75% for weight and 50% for height. My big boy!

4 Month Pictures!!

 Today Jackson had his 4 month pictures.. He wasn’t to happy (it was right around nap time) But he did great anyway. We were able to get some great shots. He is such a flirt! He was just loving Erica our photographer. All the ladies better watch out!

Amazing!

Jackson is already 3months and 3 weeks old. I cannot believe how quickly time has gone by. I was looking back at pictures of him when he was born last night.. he has gotten so big! I don’t even remember him being that little. Its bittersweet seeing him grow. I want him to stay little forever, but I know having a happy healthy little boy is great! I love seeing the world though his eyes. The mesmerized look he gets when he seems something colorful, Or trying something new for the first time. It truly is amazing!

Tummy Time, Rolling Over… and the thumb

Jackson is getting so much stronger! He can now lay on his tummy and push himself up with his arms and he can roll over from front to back and back to front! I was able to capture it on video the other night. It took him a minute but he was able to get there. Little J has also learned where is thumb is.. not just occasionally.. but ALL the time. He will even spit out his paci in favor of his thumb.. That’s going to be a fun habit to break.. haha
