Garnet and Gold Spring Game

Today we were in Tallahassee for the FSU spring game! One of the highlights of Spring for the boys in our group. Jackson enjoyed the attention for the ladies as well as spending time with his friend Stella!

Jackson's 6 Month Pics!

Today Jackson had his 6 month pictures taken! We actually had two different sessions.. One in the morning with a friend of ours name Jen who is starting out in photography.. She did an amazing job! Luckily it was early in the morning so Jackson was smiley and cooperative! Toward the end he got a bit fussy as it was time for his breakfast and then for a nap.. He was a great sport though :) later in the afternoon we met with Erica (the photographer who has been taking all of Jackson's pictures so far) at Riverside Park. Poor Jackson was not very happy.. He was hot and cranky but we managed to get some cute pictures none the less! Here are a few sneak peaks :)

6 Month Dr's Appt!

Today Jackson had his 6 month check up with the pediatrician.. Poor guy was not happy.. Unfortunately I made the appt for 2:30 which is right in the middle of Jackson's nap time.. He was pretty cranky before we even saw the dr.. He managed to make it through and was rewarded with a nice long nap! According to the Dr. Jackson is 19lbs 10 oz (90%) 27 inches (75%) and his head is in the 50%. He is perfectly healthy and growing right on track! Other than getting measured he got 2 shots :( and one liquid vaccine in his mouth.. Dr also said we can start giving J some solids (cheerios/gerber puffs) if he is interested :)

Beach day!

Jackson Had a great time at the beach today.. Our little beach bum! He paddled in the ocean, played in the sand and played with his friend Jameson :) Jackson also started sitting up all by himself today :) it was quite an eventful day..

Boat Day with Baby J!

Today we had a great day out on the boat! Jackson really is becoming a boat baby :) We took the boat down to St. Augustine for lunch at the Conch House.. we made a little bed on the floor him and he passed right out! He woke up just in time for lunch!

Jackson's First Wedding

 Jackson got to experience his first wedding today! Doris and Charlie brought Jackson to Matt and Gina’s wedding in Tallahassee, where he got to meet Avery and see his friend Stella J The baby section was in the back of the church, he did great.. As soon as the wedding started he fell asleep. Then woke up when it was almost over! He was dressed to the nines in his little suit.. All the little girls will be chasing after him one day J

Key West Trip

Jackson and I went down to meet my family in Key West this past weekend. We had a great time! We flew down to Ft. Lauderdale from Jacksonville on Saturday morning where we met Kristin at the airport. We then drove the rest of the way down to Key West, Jackson pretty much slept the whole way in the car which was great! Once we got there we went to My mom’s resort where we met up with my Nanny and Granddad (Jackson’s Great grandparents) for lunch They came over from England for two weeks.. It was my first time seeing them in three years and the first time Jackson has ever met them! We spend the afternoon, swimming, laying by the pool and then grilled out for dinner over at my grandparent’s guesthouse where they were staying. Jackson just loved all the attention! On Sunday we went out on a boat for the day. It was gorgeous outside. Unfortunately the water was a little to cold to go swimming in, but it was nice to be on the water none the less. I think Jackson liked rocking of the boat it put him right to sleep. Monday, we a delicious breakfast of Crepes and then headed out to the beach. We went to Fort Zachary, where we set up at one of the picnic tables, we had lunch there and soaked up some rays. Jackson took a nice nap in the shade and then later got his toes wet in the ocean! Tuesday, we got up early and went down to the beach where my brother works to take some pictures all together. 4 generations! Shortly afterwards we got back in the car and made the trip back up to Fort Lauderdale and then to Jacksonville. We had a great time on our mini vacation

First Beach Trip

Jackson got to experience lots of new firsts this weekend. His first trip to the beach was one of them! He wasn’t to sure about the water (it was a little cold) but he did enjoy his time there none the less! We laid a towel on a picnic bench where he played for a little while before getting sleepy. We decided to rig up the pack and play so that he could lay in there with some shade. So we turned it on its side and put a towel over top and one inside. It was perfect! He took a little nap while we all laid in the sun.. My little Beach Bum…

Captain Jackson!

Captain Jackson got to experience his first boat ride today! The rocking of the boat put him to sleep for a little while, but then he was up and looking around at all the sights!
